What is Search Engine Optimization?

So if there is anything a Newbie should be focusing on when they are building their first website it’s Search Engine Optimization.
SEO is the process of improving web pages so that they rank higher in search engines for targeted keywords
There are many SEO techniques. In general, these techniques can be categorized as On-Page Optimization, On-Site Optimization, and Off-Site Optimization.
There are also two schools of SEO: White Hat SEO and Black Hat SEO.
White Hat SEOs are those that play by the rules
Black Hat are Spam Techniques that you must avoid at all costs.
SOME BASIC SEO TIPS
- Always use Alt Tags, Title Tags and Anchor Text
- Choose the Best Keywords and Keyword Phrases for your site.
- Make sure your site contains quality original content only.
- Place your best Keywords and KeyPhrases in the Title of the site.
- Build quality backlinks each day
- Interlink your websites pages with keyword phrases
