The Internet Marketing Education Of A Lifetime

by Dan Nickerson on 01/08/2010

Two years ago I was involved in the production of Joel Comm’s “The Next Internet Millionaire” which was a competitive Internet Marketing reality show show we filmed here in Loveland, CO.

The premise of the show was that Twelve Internet Marketing Legends would reveal their secrets to the cast members and at the end of their presentation a task had to be completed, and each week a contestant would be eliminated.

One of the amazing things about being on set each day was that I got to hang out with all the speakers..

Check out this amazing roster…

- Mark Joyner (the Godfather of Internet marketing!)
- Armand Morin (made over $25,000,000 in his online business!)
- Jeff Walker (the leading expert on product launches!)
- Marlon Sanders (a living legend of online marketing!)
- Mike Koenings (no one knows online video like this guy!)
- Brad Fallon (can you say StomperNet?)
- Kristopher Jones (CEO of Pepperjam Search!)
- Mike Filsaime (the world’s viral marketing expert!)
- Ray Edwards (gets $10,000+ to write a sales letter!)
- Dave Taylor (prolific blogger, author and speaker!)
- Perry Marshall (the world’s leading AdWords expert!)
- Rich Schefren (the guru to the gurus!)

I had a great time talking with most of these guys and even drove Rich to the airport at the end of the show.

Anyhow, the point of this post was that Joel filmed the entire event and each of the speakers above spoke for almost 2 hours.

And this was not a pitch-fest, but their best stuff and truly EVERGREEN  content.

This isn’t about the latest marketing tool or gimmick, but the principles and techniques they’ve used to generate massive online success.

It’s as relevant today as ever.

It was released awhile back as a DVD product, but now we’ve put the entire product online via a private member’s are…

AND.. Reduced the price significantly.

You would could pay thousands of dollars to attend a conference where SOME of these people are speaking…  In fact at the time, we could probably have charged $25,000 for a seat in the studio.

… but you will never find them all together teaching for up to two hours each!

You can now Watch All 22 Hours ONLINE!

And check out the amazing intro video at:

And then take advantage of the lowest price ever for this incredible product.

What’s The Best Shopping Cart Software?

by Dan Nickerson on 01/03/2010

Seeing as a lot of my readers are Internet Marketing newbies I thought this would make a great blog post.   So many of them want to start an online store to sell their stuff, but they have no idea where to begin.

And to be perfectly honest, I wanted to write this post because I’m looking for feedback and comments to help us determine the best shopping cart software.

I launched my first shopping site for a friend in 1998 and to be honest, I can’t even remember what I used for software.   I switched it to OSCommerce a few years later and have done very little with it since.  One of the reasons why I’m writing this post, is because they want to do a much needed overhaul of their site (Flagstore.com) and I’m looking for recommendations for them.

In fact, if any Shopping Cart software owners are looking for a perfect showcase site, the Flagstore.com domain could be it.  (hint, hint)

Over the years I’ve used 1ShoppingCart.com, GoldBarOne, Infusionsoft and Magento and they all have their good qualities.

Of course there are other great services like Yahoo Small Business Merchant Solutions.

I could keep rambling on about all the different ecommerce platforms and shopping cart systems, but it all boils down to one thing.

Confusion.

The average newbie has no idea…

  • where to start
  • how much they should be paying
  • how to get a merchant account
  • if they need to a hosted or self-hosted solution
  • how to get up and running quickly and affordably

And to be honest, I don’t know what to tell them.

If they want a self-hosted solution I usually tell them to start by playing around with the free shopping cart software that comes with Cpanel’s fantastico, and see if that suits there needs.  Or I tell them to use 1ShoppingCart.com for a quick to setup hosted solution.

What are your thoughts an opinions on choosing a shopping cart?  Please comment below.

New Traffic Generation System

by Dan Nickerson on 12/30/2009

If you follow my blog, you know I tend to tell it like it is… So I’m not going to tell you that this is my new traffic system.

However, I recently purchased rights to this new traffic generation system which I quickly private labeled and put on Clickbank.

I didn’t create it, but I know the creator.  He puts out great stuff and there are some really great ideas in this package.

There are others selling it, I just happen to be selling it for $10 less than most of them are, and I have a 75% affiliate payout on it.

As I’ve stated in the past, there are a number of reasons to buy high quality PLR products.  Not only do you get the product, and salespage but you usually get the PSD (photoshop files) and other resources like an Affiliates page.

So let’s say you’d like to spruce up your own Affiliates page, why not modify a PLR product’s template for you own?   This one came with loads of  promotional resources/links etc.. easily worth the price of the product. (hint: someone should create an Affiliate’s Page template product)

So next time you’re contemplating buying a PLR product, don’t just think about how you can resell it.  Think about how you can integrate its features or functionality into an existing product for more profits.

Anyhow, that being said.  If you want to learn more about this traffic generation system click here.

[To clarify, this product does not come with PLR or Resale Rights, I just used it for example purposes]

(This product is now part of my blog promotion affiliate program)
